About the coach
Who I am
I'm Dane Todorovski. I'm a licensed coach with the Billiards and Snooker Federation of Macedonia (BSFM), a member federation of the European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF), and I've been coaching pool and snooker for 15 years.
In that time I've coached over 20 players, from local club players to regional tournament finalists.
My own game
I've played tournaments for over 15 years. Amateur, never professional. I'd rather say that plainly than let anyone assume otherwise. What those years gave me is a lot of time in the player's chair, under the same pressure the players I coach are dealing with.
Why Longrail exists
The Long Rail Report is my coaching, written down. The questions, the 8 player types, the 36 drills and the 8-week plans all come from years of working with players in person.
When you take the assessment, the system maps your answers against that knowledge library and generates your report automatically. No human reviews each submission. The thinking a coach would do over a table has been built into the system, so it runs for you in minutes, for a fraction of the price of a session.
The methodology is human. The delivery is automated.
What I write about
In the Long Rail Journal I write about the things I see costing players frames: aim, cue delivery, cue ball control, practice, and the rules and strategy of 9-ball. Every rules article is checked against the official rulebooks (WPA, CSI and APA) and lists its sources at the bottom.
If there's something I haven't covered, you can reach me through the contact page.
Find out which part of your game is actually costing you frames. Take the player read.
